Press Release Body: Lakewood, Colo. - September 26, 2007 - THIS IS NOT ABOUT SUING
CUSTOMERS. The fact is that Video Professor doesn't know who is behind the anonymous
complaints. CEO and founder John W. Scherer asks, "What if they are competitors or
others intending to profit commercially by these slanderous and defamatory
postings?" Video Professor, just like every other business or citizen in this
country, has a right to find out.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting
the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or
the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a
redress of grievances."
Video Professor CEO and founder John W. Scherer wants to make sure his customers
know why he's taking a stand against anonymous Internet attackers.

"There are many self-proclaimed consumer advocate websites out there," says Scherer.
"And guess what? For a fee, usually a large one, some will "clean up" a company's
record with them, even if the complaints are untruthful to begin with. And what is
especially troubling is that more and more American businesses are falling victim to
these sorts of scams."
Indeed, several other companies are currently involved in legal battles to defend
themselves against false, anonymously posted Internet attacks.

Video Professor is drawing the line against those who make anonymous false and
fictitious claims, then post them on the Internet, where often the lines between
fact and fiction become blurred.

Specifically, Video Professor, Inc. is taking a stand against those who attack, who
make false assertions without attribution, and hide behind a made-up name. The
company's legal action to uncover those who attack anonymously and make false claims
is proof that the Constitution some are trying to hide behind, applies to all
Americans, not just some Americans.

"This has nothing to do with taking away anyone's rights, especially as a consumer,"
says Scherer. "It has everything to do with what's right and fair and what this
country stands for. The Constitution does not protect slander and defamation. And
when people cross that line, I'm going to fight back."

Scherer makes it very clear that if a Video Professor customer is not happy and
wants a refund, he or she will get one. But he has to know who that person is to
resolve the complaint.

"Video Professor maintains a standard policy of issuing full and complete refunds to
any and all customers who ask for them," he said. "The company maintains detailed
records of all customer transactions, and records all phone calls when orders are
made for the company's line of computing self-tutorial lessons. This is designed to
protect everyone involved in the transaction, especially the customer."
"I sure wish I could please all the people all the time," says Scherer. "But when we
can't, money is refunded completely. It just seems like the fair thing to do."

So the man who appears in front of millions of people each day in his famous
commercials and infomercials, and who stands personally behind his guarantee of
customer satisfaction is now willing to take on this anonymous group of people who
hide behind made-up names, with claims made without documented fact. And John
Scherer isn't going to back down from his fight.
During this litigation, Video Professor reiterates its invitation to any customer,
who in any way is unhappy with its products or services, to call the company and ask
for a refund. It will be issued to the customer. It is and remains company policy.

"The Bill of Rights, including the First Amendment is what makes us unique in the
world as a nation of free people," says John W. Scherer, CEO and Founder of Video
Professor, Inc. "What makes it truly special is that it was written by people not
afraid to stand up for what they believed. And they had the courage to sign their
names to what they wrote."
The Bill of Rights was drafted by the United States Congress in 1789. Historians
credit James Madison with writing much of the first ten amendments to the
Constitution.

"James Madison wasn't afraid to tell the world what he believed in," says Scherer.
"And when he signed his name to something, it was his name, not an Internet name
like *flirdnarp39.* If Madison had hidden behind a false name, his work would have
meant nothing. The Bill of Rights would have meant nothing."

"I've been watching the remarkable new Ken Burns series on PBS about World War II
this week," says Scherer. "Millions of Americans made enormous sacrifices, including
giving their lives, to protect our rights. I can't believe for a minute they made
those sacrifices for the modern equivalent of protecting the right to hide behind
mama's skirt."

In the meantime, Scherer points to the phrase ". and to petition the government for
a redress of grievances." And that's what his company is doing. Because the First
Amendment applies to him, his company and employees as well.
